Sunday, April 17th – Retriever Training

On Sunday, we will focus on retriever training including marking concepts, fighting factors, and water work.

 Sunday start time at 8:30.

 Location:
The location for both events will be beautiful Coolwater Farms. If you have not been to these training grounds, you are in for a treat!

 Coolwater Farms

NOTE: GPS and mobile mapping devices do not always take to the correct location. Please see the maps below for directions.

Consideration of Grounds:
  • Do not let dogs out at the barn/shed for safety.  Let them out in the front field or go past the paddock areas.
  • Stay off the low lying areas if the ground is wet
  • Don’t drive across the areas that have uncut cover.
  • Stay on the roads, mowed areas, and high ground
  • Do not shoot anything near the shed or horses.
  • The gates will be opened by 7:30 am during the day and closed at night.
  • There is another small training group that will be on the grounds both days.  Some of them will join us for our Upland event.
  • Let’s be sure to keep the grounds clean by taking any trash with us or disposing it in the club trash bags.

Cost:
There is no charge to observe the Upland event.  If you are signed up to participate, the cost is $30.  There is no charge for Sunday.  Soft drinks and lunch will be provided Saturday and Sunday.
